Wild goose chase.
I'm sure cloth wearers and especially priests know the beautiful thing that is Crown of the Sun. I've spent the last week trying to find items that would match it, to no avail. There do exist Star-Soul Breeches (ignore the screenshot, see the model) which hints that maybe a green priest tier 5 lookalike was considered and later not implemented. It also suggests that the pastel green color of the hood was likely to be the color of details, not the main hue.
But... I can't even find darker brown or green items that have matching pastel green details.
So, here I am, asking the wiser audience - is a workable transmog set featuring that hood impossible? Can you point me in the right direction if it isn't?

Re: Wild goose chase.
I think this could qualify as a transmog challenge even haha, but I like what you are doing, taking one item that is nice but doesnt get used too often and building a set around it.
From what I have seen so far I think that the Overload Robes could be ok depending on your race, they match well on my undead. (what race are you btw?) But I think you are right when you say that you will have to work around the hood color. The Overload robes do have the same pastel green but they are also working with some purple and darker green as well.
As far as shoulders go I think there are a few options that are decent Spaulders of the Torn Heart being the best of the bunch, due to the matching purple colour and the intricate purple detailing on the upper part that matches the intricate purple edging on the Hood.
Incanter's Pauldrons also have the purple and you might be able to work the yellow in the shoulders into the set via a staff or offhand book.
Mantle of the Tribunal has the two tone green that matches the robe nicely but the trim is almost more brown that purple.
This could be a problem item in the same manner as the swiftsteel shoulders that Keel seems to have a love/hate relationship with and in a few shows he has noticed that a tabard can go a long way to helping cover up the non perfect match. If you cant get your hands on the above items because you have done the quests already you could play around with the Ogri'la Tabard which is a really really close match to the Crown.

I'm impressed with what you've found! Really, really impressed!
I'm a female undead and I think those robes will work wonderfully. I think I've done the quest for that chest piece BUT I do think I could get the duplicate from Thousand Needles.
Whee, I'm excited! I'll try to whip something up to show soon :3

The weapons will be tricky I think because there is so little stuff out there in this color range, lots of deeper purples and greens. Possibly a weapon with a soft white glow to accent the halo on the Crown could work, who knows. But ya looking forward to where you go with it.

That ... is a gorgeous outfit! I love it. I'll have a look for weapon choices when I'm in game next.
